Warburg joins Compass group

Compass is expanding its presence in New York City with the addition of Manhattan-based Coldwell Banker Warburg, which will operate as Warburg at Compass moving forward.
Compass’ Growing New York City Footprint
CB Warburg agents were told about the move last week, according to reports. The firm, currently led by Coldwell Banker Regional VP Kevelyn Guzman, will leverage Compass’ resources to enhance its operations.
“We’re excited that Warburg’s agents are joining Compass’ New York City operations,” Compass spokesperson Devin Daly Huerta said in a statement.
Compass aims to help Warburg agents deliver “greater value” through enhanced resources and opportunities for collaboration. By providing these professionals with the necessary tools, Compass seeks to raise the overall client experience.
CB Warburg, which lists over 100 agents on its online roster, joined Compass parent company Compass International Holdings earlier this year as part of the firm’s acquisition of Anywhere Real Estate. This latest move shows CB Warburg now picking up the Compass brokerage banner, further solidifying Compass’ presence in the New York City market.

As the real estate market continues to evolve, these moves highlight the ongoing efforts of brokerages to expand their reach and offer more services to clients. One aspect to consider is how these changes might impact the way agents work with clients, and real estate brokerage as a whole.
Further details of the deal, including the timing of the transition, were not disclosed at the time of publication. However, it is clear that these moves represent a significant shift in the setting of the real estate industry, with brokerages continually adapting to meet the changing needs of their clients.
The expansion of Equity Union into Nevada and the launch of Forbes Global Properties in South Africa demonstrate the growing trend of brokerages entering new markets and expanding their global presence. Meanwhile, the growth of Compass in New York City and the expansion of Elliman Capital into Texas illustrate the ongoing efforts of established brokerages to increase their market share and offer a wider range of services to clients.
